CFA’s Office of the Year awarded to CFA Oakville, and Douglas Nix named CFA’s Dealmaker of the Year

Corporate Finance Associates (CFA), a leading middle market mergers and acquisitions (M&A) firm, announced today that Office of the Year is awarded to CFA Oakville (Toronto), Ontario. In addition, Oakville-based Douglas Nix, CFA’s Vice Chairman, was named Dealmaker of the Year. These awards were presented by CFA on January 27, 2012 at an international conference in Clearwater, Florida.
These prestigious awards are given annually to the CFA office and individual dealmaker with the highest revenues from completed M&A transactions in the past year.
The Oakville office has continually distinguished itself through the successful completion of M&A transactions locally, nationally, and internationally. Consistently one of CFA’s top three offices worldwide, this marks the third time this office has been named Office of Year in the last 11 years. “We are extremely honoured to receive these awards,” said Mr. Nix. “It’s a delight for this recognition of our team’s hard work and perseverance in a challenging economy.”
